The case of James Bulger James Patrick Bulger was born on the 16th of March 1990 in Kirkby, England. The crime took place on Friday12th of February 1993 meaning James was 2 at the time of the attack. On this day, James Bulger was out with his mother at the Bootle Strand Shopping Centre. On the late afternoon they went to the butchers and his mother was distracted and took her eyes off of him as she placed her order. In this time where she was doing so, James had disappeared. The police was later called as the security staff failed to locate him. She gave a precise description of him saying he was wearing a blue coat with a hood and mustard lining, silver-coloured tracksuit bottoms and white trainers.
